Mother and Baby

Women must address their psychological and emotional needs in order to truly be healthy.

All women deserve to enjoy their reproductive years, even if they have an underlying mood or anxiety disorder or are burdened by stressors.

My mission is to provide support and psychiatric care to women so they can feel present, enjoy the happy moments, and face the tough ones with dignity and grace.

Services

I am a general adult psychiatrist with vast experience in treating mood and anxiety disorders.  I treat both men and women between the ages of 18 and 65, with a primary focus on women throughout the reproductive years, a time filled with joy and challenges. Mental health conditions do not discriminate -- people of all backgrounds and cultures struggle similarly.  My mission is to help educate people who are suffering from mental health conditions so they can make informed decisions and obtain proper treatment.

My passion is to de-stigmatize mental health issues that may occur while planning a pregnancy, pregnant, postpartum, or in the context of pregnancy loss, infertility, and adjustment to motherhood.  Many women are susceptible to mood and anxiety symptoms that are hormonally-related and I aim to increase understanding of this vulnerability and allow women to feel safe asking for and obtaining necessary help. A healthy mother has a positive impact on the entire family unit.

Please note that I am out of network with all insurance carriers.  You are responsible for service fees and may submit a statement to your insurance company for reimbursement in accordance with your plan.
